Whitebox Levels and Updates!

For this sprint, we gathered important playtest feedback and made changes accordingly. Our biggest feedback was that a tutorial was needed to showcase what the UI means and what your character can do around the level. While the objective was clear that you had to fight each other, players did not realize that you could also interact with parts of the level.  We decided to focus on creating a tutorial plan, so by the next sprint, we will have a tutorial available for playtesters.  We value feedback and will work hard to address all of them by the next playtest session. Our programmers have worked hard on updating the movement and attacks, as well as working on the online multiplayer feature. Our level designer decided to redesign the cat level so players would be more interested in interacting with more stuff, and he has also made whitebox levels for the fish and turtle! As deadlines approach we have decided to cut out the dog character to fully flesh out the cat, fish, and turtle characters. Artists worked on producing more art such as more cutscenes, fish animation, and some fish-level art. Our audio designer has worked on adding a volume slider for volume control and coming up with awesome fish stage music.
